When I was 14 years old, I noticed I was NOT popular.
I was a dag (an Australian colloquial term), meaning unsophisticated with an outdated style, if you can call it that.
I went on to study Fashion Design and turned my hobby into my profession.
I started sewing lessons and discovered that great clothes are my passion. After six years of sewing lessons,
At that moment, etched in my mind, I decided it was time for a change. It was time for me to change how I presented myself and be the person I wanted to be. I did change my appearance. With my nerves held close, I stepped into my creative side, unleashed my passion for exciting clothes, and never looked back.
I remember standing on the tennis court, watching the cool kids walk by, and feeling embarrassed, realising that I was NOT like them, did NOT look like them, and did NOT fit in.
